National Rail And Transportation Institute (NRTI), a premier University offering job-oriented and 21st-century skills based programs at UG & PG levels, has started accepting online applications for admission in its BTech programs.

Established by Indian Railways as India’s first university focused on transport and allied industries, it is governed by an eminent Board of Management consisting of leading academicians and industry professionals.

International partnerships: NRTI has forged academic partnerships with top-ranked global universities offering opportunities for student and faculty exchange, joint research, and learning, including Cornell University (USA), University of California Berkeley (USA), University of Birmingham (UK), Russia University of Transport (MIIT) Moscow (Russia), St. Petersburg State Transport University (Russia) and Japan Transport & Tourism Research (Japan).

1. B.Tech. (Rail Infrastructure Engineering)
Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, chemistry & maths, (Science Stream), Min 55% marks (50% for OBC/ST/ST)
Age: Below 25 years as on 1 Jul 2022
Intake: 60 seats
Selection: via JEE (Main) 2022 scores

2. B.Tech. (Rail Systems & Communication Engineering)
Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths, (Science Stream), Min 55% marks (50% for OBC/ST/ST)
Age: Below 25 years as on 1 Jul 2022
Intake: 60 seats
Selection: via JEE (Main) 2022 scores

3. B. Tech (Mechanical and Rail Engineering) - at IRIMEE, Jamalpur
Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths, (Science Stream), Min 55% marks (50% for OBC/ST/ST)
Age: Below 25 years as on 1 Jul 2022
Intake: 60 seats
Selection: via JEE (Main) 2022 scores

NRTI also offered BBA (Transportation Management) and BSc (Transportation Technology). Until last year, the admission to the BBA and B.Sc. programs were through NRTI’s own entrance test.  However, from 2022 onwards, admission to these programs are via CUET-UG-2022.  The applications for CUET-UG have already closed. 

Financial aid: All programs are fully residential. Financial aid up to 100% tuition and 50% hostel fee for eligible students is available.

Reservation: NRTI follows Government of India Regulations with respect to reservations for SC/ST/OBC/EWS. Supernumerary seats are considered for PwD, Kashmiri Migrants and Ex-Servicemen.

How to Apply: B.Tech. admissions will be based on JEE Mains 2022 score. Candidates with JEE (Main) 2022 scores need to apply at NRTI on its website with an Application Fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- SC/ST/PwD candidates ). 
The candidates JEE (Main) scores will be provided by the NTA.
